Mentor has started accepting articles.
Mentor, Academic Journal of Art and Design (MASTDER) is a national journal that has been published in 2025 and is refereed, scientific and adopts an open access policy. Our journal, which aims to bring together competent research on national and international levels regarding all the key words of the Fine Arts Basic Field, is published three times a year in March, July and November of each year. Articles attempting to be published in Mentor must be of a quality that meets scientific and academic originality in Turkish or English.
All types of original and academic research that can fall within the context of the Fine Arts Core Field can be evaluated under titles such as articles, translations, compilations, letters to the editor, and book critiques.
Mentor aims to be an alternative source to academic databases, especially needed in art and design disciplines. It strives to publish any original and scientific research that can create an alternative in the field, in line with international publishing principles. Mentor is cited in national and international indexes presented on its website. The relevant indexes can be accessed via the Mentor website. Mentor, the Academic Journal of Art and Design, uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among its participants, allowing libraries and databases to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

Mentor carries out the peer review process with a double-blind peer review approach. Mentor Journal, which has no basis other than science and art, targets academicians, students, institutions of related fields, artists, designers and all individuals interested in the area.
